Ghost Writing

What is ghost writing?

Well first off, there’s no ghosts involved I’m afraid. Ghost writing refers to employing someone else to write your project for you. This might be because you have the idea but you just can’t get it down on the page, or perhaps you don’t have the time. Or perhaps the work is written but it is messy, and notey, perhaps it needs to be restructured and rewritten.

Perhaps you’re not sure what form your writing should take. This can also cross into writing coaching, where you go away and do some of the work and research yourself and then need me to tidy it up, restructure it and consult with you, or you with us. There is no single form that works best. Let’s chat and find out what you need.

So, what kind of projects do I work on?

I work on projects large and small to whatever your specification. I can produce high quality ghost writing for novels, books or memoirs that need to be redrafted, content for websites or information packs, complete articles etc.

I am a very experienced writer with many different forms of writing under my belt, so you’re in safe hands.

And how does it work?

You can simply email notes you have so far, the work to be redrafted, or send me details of the topic to be researched, or a combination thereof. Tell me the word count required, and I will do the rest. If you would prefer a different way to work, particularly on larger projects, just get in touch and we can chat about what works for you.

[NOTE – this is NOT a service that I provide to students. If you’re struggling with developing your written work, please don’t give up. Get in touch. Take a look at my academic support page. Please remember that secondary education is not just about the piece of paper you get at the end – it is a valuable life skill; while I want to help you learn this skill, I will not do the work for you.]
